1. Introduction

We Christian is a digital Christian community and church-management platform operated by Covenant Synergy Private Limited. The platform is designed to help participating Christian churches, ministries, Christian organizations, and their members access church communication, community services, Christian resources, events, prayer features, celebrations, and related digital services.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected when you use the We Christian application, website, and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the services you use, we may collect account information such as your name, mobile number, email address, profile photograph, authentication information, and account preferences.

Where applicable, we may process information relating to your association with a participating church or Christian organization, including membership information, event participation, and celebration information voluntarily provided by you or by an authorized organization administrator.

Community features may allow users to submit prayer requests, celebration wishes, messages, comments, photographs, gallery submissions, and other content. The visibility of such content depends on the particular feature and its configuration.

For subscriptions and donations, we may receive transaction information such as the transaction/reference number, amount, payment status, date, time, and payment purpose. Payments may be processed through PhonePe or another authorized payment service provider. We do not request your UPI PIN, card PIN, banking password, OTP, or other payment authentication credentials.

We may collect limited device and technical information necessary to operate the application, deliver notifications, maintain security, diagnose crashes, troubleshoot problems, and improve performance.

3. Use of Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, connect members with participating churches or organizations, provide church-management and Christian community services, provide Bible and Christian resources, support events, prayer and celebration features, operate live community features, send relevant notifications, process subscriptions and donations, provide customer support, prevent fraud and misuse, maintain platform security, and improve our services.

4. Notifications

Where you grant permission, We Christian may send notifications relating to church announcements, events, sermons, prayers, birthdays, wedding anniversaries, baptism anniversaries, live celebrations, subscription activity, payment activity, and important service updates. Notification permissions may be managed through your device settings.

5. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information to a participating church or Christian organization and its authorized administrators where necessary to provide relevant services. We may also use payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers, authentication services, notification providers, security and technical service providers, and other service providers acting on our behalf. Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law or lawful governmental request.

We do not sell personal information as a product to third parties.

6. Payment Services

Payment processing may be performed by PhonePe or another authorized payment service provider. Such providers may process payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We Christian receives the transaction information necessary to confirm and reconcile the relevant subscription or donation.

7. Data Security and Retention

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, resolve disputes, protect the platform, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
